SEND Information

At Victoria Road Primary School, all children regardless of their gender, ethnicity, social background, religion, physical ability or educational needs are treated as valued individuals.

This document gives families information about how children with special educational needs (SEN) are nurtured and catered for within our school in order to reach their full potential. We provide a range of educational programmes and pastoral support designed to help those children who are experiencing difficulty with accessing learning. These interventions are led by a dedicated team of teachers and support staff whose aim is to ensure that individualised programmes of learning lead to very good progress for all pupils.

If you feel school hasn't met your expectations when dealing with the special educational needs of your child, you have the following options to explore.
a) discuss your concerns with your child's class teacher/ Senco / headteacher
2. Read Halton's local offer;
3. Seek advice from  parent partnership and attend any mediation meetings

If you would like to pursue a complaint against school, please take your concerns to the Chair of Governors.
