Welcome to Rowan Class!
In Rowan Class, we find reading very important and we all aim to change our reading books regularly. Our reading records will be checked randomly to check that we are reading at home, as this is essential in helping us to progress! Parents please encourage your child to read their books and please sign to say you have listened to them read.
We also think that it is important to know all our times tables and we will have time tables tests each week. It is important that we can recall our times tables and corresponding quickly and fluently. Our parents/carers can help us at home by testing us and asking us random times tables at any time throughout the day. We can also use TT Rockstars to help us, we all have usernames and passwords. Check Miss Roberts if you aren't sure what yours is.
Homework - Our homework will be given out on a Friday and will be due back in on a Tuesday.
PE - We have outdoor PE on a Tuesday and we have indoor PE on a Thursday.

In computing we are learning about how to be safe on the internet! Watch this space for our upcoming posters...
In P.E. we are learning how to play hockey and learning all the skills involved. We are playing in different positions to try and practice our defending and attacking skills. We are really enjoying it and we are really good!!
In Maths we have been multiplying and dividing 10, 100 and 1000. We are now using this to help us covert between different measurements. So far we know:
m --> cm x100 cm --> m ÷100
